Robert Gass’ career as a musician spans 4 decades and 25 albums in a variety of genres. A classically-trained musician at Harvard and the New England Conservatory, Robert was a rock performer and recording artist for Mercury & Avco Embassy in the late 60’s and early 70’s, before finding his home as a spiritual musician specializing in sacred chant. His CDs and tapes of chant with his renowned choral group, On Wings of Song, have sold more than 600,000 copies, including the best-selling Om Namaha Shivaya, hailed by New Age Journal as “one of the twenty most influential recordings of the last twenty years.”
