Judith Ansara, MSW
Judith Ansara, MSW has been a leading innovator and teacher of human consciousness, organizational & personal effectiveness and values-based living for over 30 years. With a diverse background in psychology and the arts along with decades of training in contemplative practice as well as trans-traditional spirituality, Judith trains psychotherapists, coaches, social workers and educators at teaching centers including Esalen, Omega, Hollyhock, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences and serves as a consultant/trainer at organizations in the US and Canada.
Judith is co-founder of The Peacemaker Institute which trains professionals in contemplative-based peacemaking and social action. She has also been dedicated to bringing women and feminine leadership principles into the world.
With her husband, Robert Gass, she offers retreats for couples in the arts and skills of committed relationship. Her Transformational Coaches Training has grown from Judith’s and Robert’s life-time work on the theory and process of fostering lasting change, effectiveness and well-being.
Drawing on extensive study and practice in yoga, meditation and improvisational movement and dance, Judith has a special gift in teaching the arts of conscious embodiment as a path for awakening and action. Also a trans-denominational minister and wilderness quest guide, she creatively weaves ritual into her work as a way of marking passages and anchoring the experience of transformation. From her home in Boulder, Colorado, Judith serves as a teacher, coach, consultant and spiritual guide to advanced students and aligned organizations.
